Can I access my account via Telnet shell access?

No. None of our accounts come with Telnet access. This is done to maintain the safety and security of the data (your data) on our servers, as well as to curtail the activities of spammers and others who thrive on shell access to a fast server for their ill-advised deeds.

It *is* possible to obtain shell access to your site via SSH, but this is not automatically granted with every account. If your website requires you to have access to a shell account on the server, please contact our network operations department.
