I need a specific PHP, Perl, or Ruby Module installed, can this be done?

Our Linux servers come with a wide variety of perl modules, php extensions, and ruby gems already installed system-wide by default.

If your site requires access to a perl module or php extension that is not already installed on the server, you can now install modules from CPAN or PHPⁱ PEAR directly into your account from within the cPanel interface.

For Perl Modules: Under "Software/Services," you will see an icon for "Perl Modules." Clicking this icon will take you to the Perl module installer, where you can install a perl module directly from CPAN.

For PHP Extensions: Under "Software/Services," you will see an icon for "PHP PEAR Packages." Clicking this icon will take you to the PHP PEAR package installer where you can install PHP extensions directly from PEAR.

For Ruby Gems: Under "Software/Services," you will see an icon for "RubyGems." Clicking this icon will take you to the Ruby Gem installer where you install Gems directly from RubyForge.

If you require a perl module, PHP extension, or Ruby Gem that is not currently available via this method, please open a support ticket and someone will work with you to get the module installed.
