What is domain autorenewal, and how does it work?

Auto Renewal is for the convenience of having us renew your domains for you automatically within your account.

We use the credit card that we have on file when you registered the domain. We will send a renewal e-mail reminder 45 and 30 days before the domain expires to the Administrative contact listed on the domain. We will provide a link so you can log into your account and renew your domains and update your credit card information. Included in this e-mail is an Opt-out button so you can choose all the domains you do not want Auto-renewed. Click on the renewal link, then deselect the domains that you do not wish to renew. You can deselect all domains by clicking on the gray button 'Deselect All Items' or you can remove the check on each box next to the domain name. Then, click on the gray button 'Update preferences'. The domains that have no check next to them when you click on the button to update your preferences will be removed from the auto-renewal process.

On the 20th day before expiration, if you have not renewed your domains or opted out, we will attempt to renew your domains automatically, but please be sure to check again 15 days before expiration to ensure that the domain has been renewed. Once the domain is 15 days away from expiration, it WILL NOT be auto-renewed, and you will need to log into your account to renew it as described above.
