The Basics

Every website is different, and sometimes you need to know in advance if your software package will run on a given provider’s servers. To that end, this page summarizes the software packages that are installed on our linux hosting servers.

Many popular perl modules and PHP modules/extensions are already installed system wide on our servers. In addition the cPanel system gives clients the ability to install perl modules into their account directly from the CPAN repository, without the need of even opening a trouble ticket.

This list is not a complete representation of all of the software installed on our machines. If you require software not listed here, contact us. If it’s not already installed, we’ll add it to our list and get it installed.

Major Software

  • Apache v2.4
  • Perl v5.16
  • PHP v5.6, 7.0, 7.1 and 7.2
  • Python 2.7, 3.3, 3.4, 3.5, 3.6 and 3.7
  • Node.js v10 and v12
  • MariaDB v10.2
